Celebrities, bloggers and even kids are posting status and tweets about "We Are Visible" a site that helps homeless individuals learn how to sign-up for blogs, Facebook, Twitter and e-mail as a way to share to their story.
Through the "visible communication we will be heard, we will be visible" said Mark Horvath, founder of InvisiblePeople.tv, which launch in 2008 as a video blog telling the stories of homeless individuals.
In 1995, Horvath found himself homeless after battling with addication. He got his life back together, purchased a new home, only to lose it all again when the recession hit.
